... I need to know if once installed (relatively painlessly thanks to Chad's directions), can I ride the bike to the shop (only 7 or 8 miles) to get the TPS reset, or will it not run right at all meaning that I should trailer it? And lastly, any estimates on what the TPS reset should cost in terms of time or dollars once at the shop? Let me know what you know... I'd appreciate it! John |

John - you should really reset the TPS before starting it. I see that you are in Bradenton. I'm in Palm Harbor, have the VDSTS software and could do your reset for free. PM me if interested. |

Aeholton, Thanks for the offer... I PM'd you right away and it'd be great to get together as long as the mixed color thing will be alright based on mine being black... Your's will be the second orange one I've crossed paths with from here on the board from right here in the area, so I'm starting to feel outnumbered! As usual with bikes though, couldn't ask to meet better people anywhere! |
