I recently had to venture to Toledo HD for recall service on my practically new 99 X1.. I've heard se veral stories about HD dealers and how they treat Buells.. so I was wary... The first thing that I noticed was that the Buells were in the FRONT display window. They had about six or seven sitting there, including the ULY which is absolutly odd looking ( first time i saw one in person) So we are off to a good start. One of the reasons I chose Toledo over Ft> wayne ( same distance) is that BadWeb member Rageonthedl is a mec there, so i felt a little more comfortable. Well the bike ran into some issues and the service manager called me to explain... needless to say I was not happy my 960 mi. bike was haveing issues already...( intake gasket) I talked to the mec and he told me what was up and he fixed that problem. Now my "new" race ECM seems to be bad. Not anyone's fault but Rage (Mike) took the extra time out of his schedule to trouble shot and narrow it down to the ECM... He was on vacation this week but still is making time to meet up with me tom. when I pick up the bike and reset the TPS for my stock ECM, and even offered to ride part way back with me.... THink I would have gotten that if he was not a BadWeb member???? I doubt it... Even thought I am frustrated about the issue BIG props to Toledo HD , ps they have been fairly quick on their service too... hopefully i still feel this way after i get the bill

I stopped in back in January, I had to go to Toledo for my job. Yes, Buells were in the middle of the showroom with a wall of accessories! A salesman took me back into the shop area to sit on a Ulysses that was already sold. The salesman seemed enthusiastic about Buells. I told the salesman about The Badweb, hopefully they are taking notes! |

So hope everythings cool, I got thinkin about your bill, I bet they tacked on some stupid shop fees. But on the way back to my house i heard this rattle sound, look down and i can see the header movin, when the porter droped my bike he broke the exhaust mount, im gonna pull the rest of the header wrap off see if anything else is broken |

They charged for checking the belt tension .2 hrs. and the bolts .2 hrs. both of those prob. didn;t take more that 5 min. they also charge 11 for brake fluid which i thought would be covered since it was part of the warranty... Take those charges or at least one of the .2 hrs. off and it would of been closer to what i though it would be I did notice that it takes longer for the bike to come back down to idle and a couple time it was idiling at over 2000K ????? |

Sounds like a TPS reset issue or intake manifold air leak? |

Its not a Intake leak, I just replaced them and i just reset the TPS. I have had then have a high idle right after a tps reset, from what i have seen it will go away....Adam i also sent you a email |
