I'm just a bit short for this bike. Is there a different spring I could swap in to lower the bike a bit? TIA. |

yes there is the "low" springs you can order from harley . When you order them they are about 75 bucks for the springs front and back . the only thing is that you are going to have the dealer or someone re-gas the rear shock . the fork you can do , and i guess you can do the shock if you have a nitrogen kit. just check with the dealer and make sure they have the tools first . it drops about 1.5 to 2.0 inches total . |

So no swapping the spring/shock out of the xb9s low, directly into the xb9r? Thanks for the info! |

yes if you can find a low suspension some wants to get ride of you can swap or buy straight out. rear shock would be interchangeable within all the s's and r's as far as i know. front forks are interchangeable also. my brain is kind of slow today though so i cant remember if the 05's like yours had the larger forks so that you would need to get those or if they are still the smaller ones like the 03/04's. i'm thinking they are bigger, but i am sure someone will correct me if i am wrong |

Am I endangering my exhaust here? Or do the low models come with different sized exhaust mounts? This is something I think would be good for me to do, since I'm only about 5'6". |
