I wanted to buy a Ulysses, but the only dealer within 300 miles was no help at all. Didn't have any stock, wouldn't return my calls. And this was when I was a prospect, what would happen when I was a customer? So today I bought a KLR. Then I came home and phoned Happy Trails and ordered up the aluminum panniers and a whole load of other goodies. It's red and silver and I pick it up tomorrow. This has been a great site and I've enjoyed the company of all the members, but I expect I will be spending my time over at KLR650.net from now on. Adios amigos. |

Have fun on your new ride. Pop in time to time. It's a shame when dealers act like jackasses. |

Why sell a product your not into? I just don't get it. You don't like Buells don't sell em. Don't treat the people who like/want them like second class people. |

Don, Stay in touch, some day if I ever make it up to BC you can show me some great rides in your area. Too bad on the Uly. |

If you're going to be riding on the terrain in your profile pic, you're better off with the KLR anyway... |

Congratulations!!! I really miss my old KLR650. Owned many different types of bikes over the years, but the KLR is responsible for the vast majority of my fondest motorcycling memories. In fact, I ended up buying my X1 as the KLR I had been drooling over sold the day before. Glad I ended up with the X1 but often wish I had the KLR. |

I rode a KLR all over the New York City area for a couple years. It was an incredible motorcycle, you'll have a ball! |

I had a KLR650 once then sold it to get my Buell S1. I regret ever selling the KLR but after a few years I bought a DR650 which I actually like better than the KLR. My particular DR has no electric start, liquid cooling. I would definately own another KLR.

The KLR is destined to go down in history as one of the best deals in motorcycling. |
