I think I want to order these mirrors from Trojan: "Replacement 'Golf Club' Mirrors" Product #MI-GC001 - Can someone tell me if these will just screw in, in place of the stock mirrors or will I need to order something else? Has anyone else used these... do they vibrate a lot like the stock mirrors? Thank you! (Message edited by earwig on April 05, 2006) |

These will just screw into the stock housings, so you don't need any adapters etc. They don't vibrate as much as the originals as they are pretty solid aluminium. The only downside is that the mirror head is nowhere near as big as stock, so your view behind is slightly worse. |

Thank you Trojan! I will deal with the decreased mirror size... I think the bar end mirrors are kinda ugly and I can't find many other black alternatives out there that I am crazy about... do you know the hole/thread size of the mirror housing off the top of your head? If not thats cool, thanks again. |

Go with the Trojan mirrors. They are easy install (and removeable-just ask the little thief in my neighborhood). Once you get them set they are great. I carry a wrench with me in my tank bag until I get them just where I want them. They look really cool-they just fit the bike! |
