Nice diagram. The first time I modified my muffler, I just cut it open and removed some of the outlet pipe and had it welded back together. I tried that for a while and then decided to open up the flow a little more so I took an 8" drill extension and reached in to drill another hole in that end cap. Mark |

I am going to be drilling the endcap as well. I want to have the stock pipe on the bike, but not the stock sound/performance. How much did you drill?? How many holes & What size?? Are you happy with it?? |

I think my drill extension is 1/4". Start with one and see how you like it. You can always drill a second or third. |
