I'm curious to hear of any stories from those that have polished their headers. How hard was it? I polished my frame, but it wasn't a hard metal like stainless is. How's it hold up and does it blue as easy as a new one does? thanks in advance. wondering which route to take- polished or coated. |

Im polishing my stock header now. First thing I did was hit it with a die grinder and a scotch brite conditioning disc. It took the gold color right off. I then hit it with a buffing wheel with rouge and it started to shine real quick. I don't know how it will hold up, but I'll find out real soon. If you polished your frame, the header shouldn't be a problem for you. |

Mine seem to blue less after polishing. Virtually not at all on the front and just a bit on the rear. I wet sanded and hand polished with Mothers mag and aluminum polish and a paper towel(couldnt find any Eagle One local). I like it although I would like to Jett Hot or ceramic coat some day. |

all you need is a little bit of Mother's Billet polish, soft cloth and about a hour of your time. They will shine up nice! |
