Took my 9s for a hour ride yesterday. She ran great but once she got up to temp, something happened. I would come to a stop light and go from 3rd to neutral and coast to the light. I noticed when I am slowing down, my rpm's will stay right at 2000.After I would stop, it takes 16(I counted in my head after a few times of stopping)seconds from it to slow back down to normal idle rpm. About 1100. What is that about. I was just riding normal when this starting happening. I only put the race kit on it, no other mods. |

May be stating the obvious, but you did get your tps reset right? |

My XB9S with race ECM did the same thing, I lowered the idle slightly, a little over 1000, and this problem ceased. The adjustment is very sensitive,so it only takes a hair of a turn. |

You could also try lubing the cables and check the twist sleeve thingy...take it apart off the handlebar and blow it out lube it, and look in the sleeve itself for any wear on the inside. The sleeves come with the factory grips if you need a new one |

It sounds a bit like what I had when I picked up my 05 kitted firebolt. Got the tps reset and no more issues. Mine just idled up to about 2k and stuck there after I rode a while, so I adjusted the idle back to about 1100 rpm, then when cold wouldn't idle on it's own till I monkey with the screw. So a tps reset should do ya rite. |

I had that on my Uly for a bit... I did nothing and it went away, then came back. I disconnected the battery for a nightt in hopes of resetting the computer seemed to work. However I can not say with certanty that this actully odes anything. It might be helpful to note that this happened after a month of cold weather riding, and then the temps came up. |
