Hi,

I didn't find quite was I looking for in the KV.

I've got some crossroads bars on order, and I want to paint the crossbar part black. And perhaps later, paint my rear subframe black.

Can someone give me a summary, steps or guide to best way to paint aluminum? Is it even better to just take it to a local powder coater or paint shop?

thanks

powder coat would be your best bet.. and I saw someones bike on here who powder coated the triple on his XB12.. looked very nice.. its in a previous thred on XB board.. but powder coat is very nice and doesn't crack and scuff easy like paint does. if you want longevity, go with powder coat.

my opinion.
