Let us get through the next several days and we'll start getting stuff nailed down. . . pretty intense at the moment.

Chances are this is going to be the biggest and best homecoming yet considering all the momentum and excitement the new Buell race bike has brought us. I have to really take my hat off to Erik & Company for making a serious contender available at a price that will attract many more teams to pick up the Buell Flag. This will be a very exciting race season and the Road America event during Homecoming is just the second race of the season. Just be prepared to pick up the phone and make your reservations asap. This most likely will be a Once-in-a-Lifetime Event! |

Okay, just got this from Caralee & Sharon at Hals. Here’s the time frame that came out of the meeting we had with HD Brag staff…. Friday, June 2nd _ Starts at 9:00 AM in East Troy – no pre-registration – no Battle Trax – they pay no fee to participate. They have activities planned there…seminars, tour, meet with Erik Buell, etc. I don’t know what they are doing on the 3 or 4th. No clue. They can attend the AMA Superbike races at Road America in Elkhart Lake. They will wrap up there by 3:30 – 4:00 and be here at Hal’s at 4:30 PM. Time frame they are looking at with us would be approximately 4:30 until 6:30 PM. ?? 100-130 people attended last year. After Hal’s, they are on their own. Still in the process of working on what we are going to do. Hope this helps a little… Sharon J |

Since it isn't at the top of the page, what are Daves' plans at Appleton. Thought he had some activities planned for Friday evening as well. |

Yep....Dave was planning a cookout and other fun stuff on Friday. I don't think that Saturday is an option at the dealership. Their Friday hours allowed extra time without keeping staff around too long. On Saturdays, they close at 4:00pm. Question....you can't tell me that somebody at BRAG doesn't monitor this board. Why couldn't they speak up before now?!?!?!? |

Well, if that is the new plan, it sure would be great if I could buy the race tickets at Hal's. Am playing airport shuttle service for the wife on Friday and won't be able to make it to Buell to pick them up. |

Lake, I doubt *ANYONE* at Brag monitors this board. I've got it on good authority that Buell does. But BRAG? Nope. Like most non-HD things, BRAG is the Red Head Bastard step child of HOG. I did warn Dana back at the end of January's Belle City meeting, about Marie's email concerning "working" with a dealer. I think we just both assumed that it was Appleton. I think it's more of a lack of communication between BOTH BRAG, and the "Badweb Homecoming planning commitee" This isn't like it's a last minute thing. So lets work together with BRAG, Appleton, and Hals to make this the coolest homecoming yet! Outtie, I can pick up your tickets for Road America on Friday if'n ya like.

Steve...That would be great! Tell me how much I owe and I will send a check now or pay you cash at Hal's. Sure is a shame we can't be everywhere at the same time. However, I have a strong feeling that next weeks meeting in East Troy that Court referred to will result in a Homecoming we can all be proud to have attended. |

>>>So lets work together with BRAG, Appleton, and Hals to make this the coolest homecoming yet! Totally doable deal. Nothing in stone yet about reconciling all the competing agendas, but I'm having a real tough time, in my own mind, imagining that it's that tough. A bunch of folks, aboard motorbikes, are a fairly mobile lot. Nothing will happen until at least a week following Daytona. I'd sit tight for now and let's see what we can do. |

What I want to know, is what does everyone want from Hals? I'm quite tight with the powers that be over at Hals, and can help make things happen. Just gotta have suggestions. |

I suppose them moving closer to the track is out of the question? I really don't see riding all the way back to Hals just to return the next morning. Appleton here I come. |

Appleton it is. No dig on Hal's, but BRAG is, again, a day late and a dollar short. Too bad Hal's can't host something Thursday night. |

Appleton for me too, I already planned on the event and am looking forward to it !! You just can't do everything that's going on at "any" event !! Do what you can and enjoy what you do, you can't have it all, at least that's what my mom always said !! |

Steve I remember you telling me of your email but like I had told you I spoke to her a week before are meeting in the regards of any changes and she had told me that nothing had changed. For me to tell them what we are doing is exactly what they want. For us to do there job. They dropped ball. Now if Hal's wants to do something like I said Friday breakfast. And then everyone saddle up to go to East Troy at a certain time. Otherwise this is going to be quite a broken event. As far as BRAG watching this sight you are correct they don't really. But Hal's does meaning your spokeperson at Hal's could have, should have spoken up. I Know Ukes watched and I'm definate that Racine HD Buell does... daily. I'm not trying to ruffle feathers. |

Not to question CJ's mom, but why can't we do all that is planned. It would seem with just a little schedule adjusting (Court has now convinced me how flexible Buell riders are)move a couple of things up a little, move something else back a little and we CAN squeeze it all in. The WI folks (cheddar heads) can attest to the distances and travel times between the locations involved and based on this, then scedule the different Friday events accordingly. It would keep the pace of the day moving fairly rapidly but I would guess most of us would be up to it. A little cooperation amoungst the folks making the plans and it could be a busy, fun day. Thanks. By the way, who would rather be in Florida right now? |

That what I'm trying to do. Hal's has done a breakfast before and they worked great. Make it last till 11 AM and then to the factory. Its up to Hal's this is going to work regardless of what they do. Others here have time and severals calls to area businesses for filling the gaps to make this all work. |

I would rather be in Florida right now !! I didn't mean anyone can't do it all !! I usually can't because I end up going one place and plan on heading out to another, but get to talking too much, anyone can tell you that, oh and I get lost A LOT !!! I think the more that's planned the better, it's really all cool !! |
