Author Message   Mutation_racer Posted on Wednesday, March 08, 2006 - 10:48 pm:        just to give everyone a update on how we did at daytona. Friday. The weekend started out great with a win in the CCS thunderbike AM class. (drafting on the high banks is no joke). saturday started out just as good battling for the lead,and my O2 sensor bong backed out and i feel back to third on the fourth lap. After that i put my head down and was able to still finished second in the LW supersport AM race, then the fun began We try'd to fix the problem but we ran out of time. So we desided to run it anyway with the bong missing. I had a great start and moved into second , and cought the leader going into turn one and just went in to hot and thats all she wrote , LOW SIDE into a very soft air fence (thanks to roadracingworld.com for saving my bike). Sunday i had to deal with a very swolin left hand that we had a hard time fitting into my glove . We started the LW AM Grand prix from the second row and just like before moved right to the front. I chased the leader for five laps to set him up for the big pass on the banking but missed a shift going on to the high banking and just didnt have enough power to run him down. THEN the big race ASRA thunderbike starting from the back row . I had a good start moved up too 15th place and we some help from some of the other team not finishing,i finished 10th so all n all not to bad. hats off to nate kern and my new found friend keith from roenoke hd-buell for all the great racing we, did see everyone at road america.
