I have the Xtreme Fairing offered by Euro Componants on my X1. Now that it has been discontinued and there are no parts available, I'm worried about damaging my last one (I've got a damaged one from a crash) I would like to use the Firebolt full fairings for my track days. I've seen this done but can't recall where. Considering I already have the structure for holding a fairing. Anyone have any info on the Bolt to Tube mod? Thanx. | ||

Shadow, I know that the brackets from a Fbolt will bolt up to your steering neck, and the stock fbolt fairing with bolt up to that with minor amount of work, but don't think a full fairing would fit as you would need to come up with some type of lower mounting system that would be different than your original chin spoiler. But then again, as I am finding with my "last of the last" Eurocomponents fairing that I am having to modify mine just because of headlight fitment issues and tank cover alignment. So on that note I guess anything is possible. I have looked into the Airtech fairing for an S-1 and I think that their fairings would be a closer match than a Fbolt's due to the usual open area for the frame/fuel tank of the XB's. |
