Sportster/Buell engines seem to go for $1500-$2800 depending on mileage and condition and salesmanship and if the engine comes with the bike title or with just a bill of sale. When I considered parting out my bike I put $2,500 for the engine price which includes the carb. Watch ebay for current market pricing/gouging. A lot also depends on what the current crop of custom assemblers are doing and what's in the latest magazines. |
