Funkdaddy, Stop posting pictures like that damn it!! I'm at work and the pools of druel are very hard to cover up and are turning into a slip hazard which could lead to an OSHA recordable incident. Now how am I supposed to explain how that pool of druel got there? |

We are still not getting the picture description in. More work is needed to get it right. The above picture is my Canadian friend Leeann at our favourite hang in LA. Thanks for all patience as we keep making mistakes. LA Bill |

Here's my latest S1, a '96, sourced from the conscientious original owner in Minneapolis. It's T-Stormed, race toobed and tidy. The rear fender will go, replaced by an S3 unit sourced here from a cheerful Bighairyralph. Lower, narrower bars and taller gears will be added, better to suit high speed road/track work. It replaces a '97 S1 which was ripped off 5 days after purchase right here in Ontario the Good. Maybe handgun ownership ain't such a bad idea.... Happy New Year, Lornce |

Handgun ownership is never a bad idea I can help with the lower bars, gearing and tail. You do know that it's going to take a bit of fabrication to get the S3 tail on the S1, yes? bighairyralph |

Hey Ralph, Lem'me know about your gears and bars. Have no intention of changing tail to S3, just the fender: it's a straight swap, as you know. Would never alter the lines of the original S1 tail, oh no, never that. Pic rejected on account of file size. Am working on fix.... BTW, Have no idea how these things work, but is it possible to configure Badweb to automatically reduce submitted image files rather than requiring each participant download image manipulation software? Seems the success rate for posting images is something below 50%. Again, have no idea about these things, am simply respectfully enquiring.... Best of the New Year, Lornce |

Lornce / Blake... If this is on a Unix/Linux server and you have access to a program called ImageMagick it is very simple to do command line manipulations of images in terms of size. I suspect it can change the compression ratios as well. Would be an easy way to simplify picture uploading, as well as manage the size to keep people from stretching the screen too far. |

Is there anything more American than a Buell and a Bronco? |

LA Bill, Your image description shows up when you position your mouse cursor over the pic. |

Bill, Sounds interesting, I was thinking of implementing the server version of Image Optimizer for similar reasons. Will check into the software you mentioned. Would be cool if the server already had it, but I kinda doubt it. |

PJmule, That works as well. Looks like all of us together could deal with just about any on/off road adventure.... In a foreign country of course, you know tread lightly. |

Mikep, No. That's a photo of another bike blended onto an XB photo. Very creative but not reality. It surfaced a few months ago. Timbo |

I'd say, based on looking at the BMW sitting next to my desk here, that it's a BMW F650 bodyset grafted on an XB picture. But, that's just a guess. Buell can do better and Erik would never stand for the weight distribution bias that bike would have. Court |
