Go with Michelin Pilot Powers. 120/70/17 ZR17 180/55/17 ZR17 eBay = 225 New with stickers and nipples (front and back). Atleast, that is what I got mine for. As far as Bridgestone. I dont' know, I have never used a Bridgstone except on prvious automobiles. But the above tire sizes I specified above should fit your bike fine. you dont' want to really change tire size it could make it possibly unstable, or have poor handling, but what do i know, i am a noob. Tire Experts dont work at MAW. why would a Tire Expert tell you which tire to buy from a mail order discount house? some one earning a living ( that is to say a professional) would be acting against their own interest to help you buy tires from a mass market discounter. You want walmart prices, you get walmart service. | ||

i would NEVER recamend dunlops on a buell. they are HORRIBLE tires IMO. anything but dunlops would be a GREAT improvement. i use to think tires were tires till i switched them.....wow what a new bike it felt like. i personally run perelli diablo's and am hooked on them. unbelievable difference in the way it handles. they smoke quit nicely also.  | ||

You may want to contact Bridgestone. I personally couldn't wait to get those BT020's off my FZ1. They seemed like they took forever to warm up and were no where near as grippy as the Diablo's I went with when they wore out. The Diablo's had a good tread life for street riding too. | ||

Your Strada's are a better tire than the BT020. If you want something other than the Strada, the Metz Z6 and Conti Road Attacks, are excellent choices for a sport touring tire. | ||

Skeeter, Why sport touring tires? Just curious but IMHO the Buell has a ton of torque and should you exceed the limits of the tire you may find yourself getting "flicked" off. I run the Bridgestone BT14s' and can often find a set for 200.00 or so. I also just got a set of Conti sport attacks but have not had a chance to run them as hard as i ran the Bridgestones. I like them so far but don't do to many canyon days in the winter so the jury is still kinda out. | ||

I'm on the center of my tread way more than the sides. I have about 6000 on my back tire and still have a ways to go before I have to put the new ones on. The price of the tires may be similar, but the longevity is not. | ||

loved the D-207's-- wore them out(on the sides) in 2,500 mi. lessee 2 sets of tires in one oil change !? no way! i'm currently running metz.-Z-6 SPORT-touring tires and hope to get 5-6,000miles.no complaints on the Z-6's | ||

over 5000 on my Metzeler Roadtec Z-6's and the rear looks like it still has about 2000 or more left in it. Front can go another 5 easy. I get onto the sides abit but I commute a lot and getting the extra mileage makes it worthwhile to have a tougher tire. Whoever said 2 sets of tires in an oil change... I hope you change your oil more than that... i don't go over 2500 on synthetic oil... or any oil for that matter | ||
