I have been riding for the last few weeks with the LL. I think it looks like it is supposed to be there (black XB12S); actually looks better with the lip on from some angles, not as naked. The thing functions as intended. At highway speeds and well above the air hits me about shoulder to face level - depending on speed. no longer feel like I have to crouch on the bike or risk getting blown off. Less stress on the arms/hands and makes for more relaxed/fun riding. Revdoc |

Photos please, hard to tell anything from the 1 on the LL site. They talk about the 3M locks, after you put the 3M locks on the fairing can you easily remove and re-attach the lip shield? |

Those look like very nice shields. I am using a replica of 1957 Royal Enfield on my XB9S. Works ![cimgo0651.jpg](http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/32777/173587.jpg) ![cimgo0651.jpg](http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/32777/173588.jpg) |

Am nearing the middle of a 36 hour shift, will try to post photos tomorrow night. Have not tried to take the shield off, really I am more glad that the 3M stuff works well enough at 125mph for short bursts. I have used the same locking material on my sport touring bike to attach the radar detector and it locks and unlocks great in larger size patches. Revdoc |

Bcordb3, by all means take a looonngg break before responding. I have a couple "O" questions. What in the "H" is a 3M Lock? Is it like velcro or does the 3M hold some kind of plastic bracket? It holds up to 125MPH sounds fairly strong. But what's the science man? Get back to me when you get some rest. Can you take it on and off, or is this something you just want to leave on until your done with it? BG |

The 3M lock stuff is like super velcro. It is sort of two sides of the plastic hook side of velcro, except really beefy, that locks together when pushed together. like velcro it can be removed and reattached, but it sticks together really well. radio shack sells it is strips and I have been using it on my touring bike to attach the radar detector, gps, satellite radio, etc. to the bike and works great. here are some pictures: Randy V |

One of these days I am going to re-attach my windscreen with the same grommets used on the Uly. I have them, just haven't done the installation yet. BTW I purchased them from Dave S. if anyone was wondering. All I have to do is drill a 5/8" hole for each and insert the grommet and good to go. My Enfield windscreen is pre-drilled. |

Surprise ! It really WORKS ! So small I was far from convinced. Looks like it belonged there in first place. At 90 MPH feels like old 65. See:" My Profile " for photo. |
