I think the bike needs to be protested, and I think it needs to be tested that the bike's legal. If the bike is legal, the bike is legal. But it has to go through the process to make sure. We believe the bike's illegal. Our job is to go there and have them show us why it's legal." Or is this just a veiled attempt to get to look at the XBRR "up close and personal". Just because it is different, doesn't make it illegal |

Well how about performance. The best Buell #999 Jeremy McWilliams finished 52nd. That was good enough to win the Cal Rayborn Award. As late as lap 29 he was 9th. I get the feeling with a better pit crew we might have been fighting for a podium position. McWilliams left the 1st pit stop with a towel around his neck. And during the 2nd pit stop the bike fell off the front stand. Also by the 1st pit Ciccotto and Crevier were out and by lap 34 Penzkofer was out. I didn't catch what happened to these guys. }} |
