Quote:Mariabelen wants a 9S, but can't touch with both feet on it. Ohlins makes an adjustable shock but I don't know how we'd drop the front.
Easy way to drop the front... back off the preload. |

Is the HD museum ever going to be built? I heard they scrapped the Pabst building as the location. |

Bads1: You have to wait after posting till the program gives you the opportunity to upload the pic. The file has to be smaller than 50 KBytes. Hans |

Hey guys thought you may like to see this! Picture of Erik Buell's RW750 that his company put back together for him as a surprise in pictured at the right is John McKosh's (our assistant director of Uke's Brag Club)prototype 1986 RR1000. Funny thing of it is ...Erik was at hand at the 2001 Homecomming send off party at Uke's and he did not even know that this bike even exsisted any longer. He recognized scratches that he put in the bike. He was totally amazed at seeing this bike again. John (owner) has tried to contact HD to see if they would like it for their museum.

>>>>Is the HD museum ever going to be built? I heard they scrapped the Pabst building as the location. I got a letter from Mr. Davidson last Monday. Project is not scraped, but has been delayed as a couple of construction components are brought into synch. I suspect, knowing the manager of the project, it will be everything that's been promised and more. I've got all the photos (3 packages) I shot when Dan R and Dan L presented the bike to Erik on stage at the Buell All-Star races. The tears were flowing from his eyes and the momemt was literally priceless. It's still funny to listen to the ongoing debate about starting the thing. WANTED: Someone who knows something about timing a Barton 2 stroke....Erik and Aaron have exchanged theories and the converstation always ends with Erik confessing he SHOULD know but had many other things in his mind at the time. John Mikosh did the entire Buell community a favor when he snagged the Black RR, we now know it will be safe along with this frickin' bicycle hanging over my desk Court |

Brian dedicated the first 21 years of his adult life to the US Air Force and is wanting to break into journalism/web design. His passion is motorcycles and he has a regional newspaper in print and on the net 'Midwestrider.com' DAve PS He doesn't know I've posted this. Shame on me but it's too cool |

Rocket: Anything you can get to be saved with the bike would be fabulous. I'd like to get as complete a set of documentation (yes, I know the owners manual was ONE page) to save. Also, don't expet, just 'cause we find the specs, that the thing is ever going to be started.....Spares are sparse. Court |
