All I’ve got a Lyons Industrial Shelving Unit . . . . . . . 42” high, 23.75” deep, 37.75” wide . . . .four adjustable shelves . . . . . this thing is a tank! It’s held a minimum of 800 pounds at one time (spread among the fours shelves) . . . .. I’ve no use for it at all . . . . . any takers? (posted here in the local club threads as it wouldn’t likely be worth the shipping costs to those from further away) |

Yes, if you still have it consider it taken. What's it weigh? |

Okay, now the logistics.... How soon do you need it out of the way? This weekend is fairly booked doing homework and graduation stuff. A week from tomorrow maybe? |

week from tomorrow is fine, Mike . . .no huge rush . . .. at all at all . . . . we may be able to work out a half-way thing, if I can pry the volvo keys from my daugher . . .I'll have to do some measuring first don't worry bout the timing . . .. oh, btw, it's industrial gray (as god-fearing shelving should be) with a little rust on the end of the legs, and a little on the bottom shelf |

If'n it didn't have a little rust it just wouldn't be right for free. I'm offline tomorrow most of the day so will ping or post early next week about options on meeting and swapping. Anything from up here you want? Call in that Northern order and if it fits I'll bring it south with me. |

Well half of my former statement was true. I did start working on a new look for my M2, but the heater quit in my garage. That sucks! Thank goodness I am not married, I don't think a wife would have taken kindly to me spray painting parts in the house like I did... LOL If anyone knows of somebody with an extra rear fender that will fit a M2 please let me know... Ken |

Yeah, that flat black fender that bolts to the swing arm. I am trying to build a small gaurd so my girlfriend wont stick her shoe onto the belt while we are riding. So I figured I would try and pick up another fender and cut it up. I don't like the full thing because it covers up to much of the tire. I have seen a few on ebay, but I swear once you add in shipping I see people paying more for parts there then at the dealer. What's up with that? I got some stuff finished on my bike already, maybe this week I will be able to post some pics if anyone is interested... Ken... |

MikeJ, Sorry I didn't get a chance to get back to you. I did get your voice message though, thanks. Bomber, I'd be happy to swing by to pick up the "Big Unit" in the stealthmobile. I'm heading down to Berkeley (just south of O'hare) to help my brother move to Saint Charles. I'll be heading back Sunday late afternoon, early evening. Just let me know what time is best for you etc. Jerry |

Aieet, (hmmm something doesn't look right there, oh, shift fingers one key to the right and...) Sorry, (that's better) I'm running on a priority interrupt basis these days as, shall we say, some things are rather fluid and variable. We'll try again. |

Hey Brew City... If anyone is looking for some excellent prices on very compact tents (that sleep two easily) and sleeping bags for the 2003 campouts...Get your Heinie over to GANDER MOUNTAIN asap. Their sale lasts until 12-24 and they have some tremendous deals!!! Even better than the internet camping supply companies which include factory rebates. Example: Eureka Apex2 Tent @ $40. Is $90 at campmor.com with a $20 rebate. $60 for a rectangular sleeping bag with 40' rating that usually sells for $90 or more. Plus, a whole lot more on sale. Heck, my whole kit fits in a 20"x12"x10" duffel that will easily strap to my bike in lieu of the usual tail bag. Not to mention I have tons of room left over for clothes, food, booze, canteens, stove, thermarest mattress pad, rain suit, etc, etc, etc... Plus, the size and weight of the kit will not effect the bikes handling in the twisties!!! So if you are light in the camping equipment area, I strongly urge you to take advantage of these prices and enjoy the fun next summer!!! Happy Holidays! Bill |
