my '04 xb12s is bogging down, almost stalling, when I quickly twist the grip from idle. If I feather it she revs easily. I have read previous posts and adjusted the hot idle to around 1100(it was around 900) but she still wants to stall when I really get on it. There is also a loud throaty growl now after I cut the airbox, but I think that is normal.
Thanks in advance for any help on this.

I cut my airbox last weekend and thats pretty much when it happened. Apparently one needs a high flow filter when using a cut box. When I remove the filter and rip the throttle...problem solved. I'm not sure why my filter does this although it looks kinda fluffy. The breather hoses might be adding to it also, so I'll address that this weekend.
