Are you a Buell owner going to a U.S. International Motorcycle Show? If so, stop by the Buell area to say “hello” and pick up a free t-shirt - all we need is your VIN number.

Fellow Thunder Club Members. Hope the "Holiday Season" has been a good one for everyone. To finish off 2005 I am inviting everyone to ride in the Midwest M/C "Hangover Run". This is one of the oldest running motorcycle rides in the state, held every New Years Day. The $10.00 fee covers the cost of lunch and the rest is donated to charity. It's an opportunity to get out and ride for awhile and catch up with friends. There is a group meeting at Harley-Davidson/Buell of Bloomington at 8am, meeting a group at the Marathon/VP in Martinsville, 252 & 37, at 9am, heading north from there. If you would like to get out for the day, weather forecast is for 54 degrees, ride with and meet some new friends plus help out charity then come ride with us. Hope to see you there! For those who can not make the ride we'll see in January at the meeting. Thanks "Ride Smart-Ride Safe" |

Hey, All. Wanted to show a logo I've put together for Hoosier Thunder. See what you think!

Corey that looks really good! There are a couple things we want to have included. One would be the BRAG logo, the dealer number "1171", and "Buell of Bloomington". If you shrink "Thunder" down a bit, put the dealer number on one side, the BRAG logo on the other, and "Buell of Bloomington" curved across the bottom I think we will be just about there. What do you guys think? |

Wow Corey the logo looks pretty good. Thank you for you efforts. I agree some adjustments are necessary, but if you can make one with just the dealership number,1171, without the BRAG logo and one with. That way we'll have two choice's to be sure we are within Buell/BRAG regulations on logo useage. Also we can get final approval from the dealership and membership. Please bring them to the meeting this coming Saturday. Look forward to see everyone then. Thanks "Ride Smart-Ride Safe" |

Check out this thread. It looks like we will have to homegrow our entertainment this year for homecoming. This is not even close to resembling the events of the last 2 years. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/4062/167964.html?1137634214 |

Ok,Ok Jeff won't fess up so I'll spill the beans. YES, Jeff was first in line for the new XBRR at the winter dealer show. Don't have any details on production or delivery but, yes, Jeff has ordered the newest, latest and greatest from East Troy. Personally I was not excited with the direction of the FX class but now am thrilled to see a home grown representative in the AMA that will make an impact. As the details come in I'm sure it'll be posted. In addition, I want to send out a big "Congratulations" to Jeff, just returning from the Destroyer Drag Racing School where he put his destroyer into the 9's! I'll let him tell everyone about it at the next Thunder Club meeting. Wishing everyone the best and looking forward to the riding season. "Ride Smart-Ride Safe" |

I personally can't wait to see that badass XBRR. Obvious question, who's the lucky duck that gets to ride it first? hehe Congrats to Jeff on hitting 9's on the Destroyer. Way to go! |

Yeah Skeeter, the meetings are pretty much a wash for me at that time of day. I work most Saturdays, and the earliest I can get out of there is 11:30-12:00. By the time I get home, clean up and make it to Bloomington it's 1:30 or later. Kinda hard to justify the trip when I'll already have missed most of the meeting. I may be interested in splitting homecoming lodging. If you don't mind, email me with some of the particulars on rooms, rates etc. Who is going to ride up? I'd like to ride, but the Cyclone just isn't set up to haul luggage. |
