Gotta love dealerships: They said: JOSH, WE HAVE THE TITLE AND IT HAS 99.9 BHP AND THE OWNERS MANUAL WITH IT AND THE 1998 S1 LIGHTNING AND THE 1998 S1 WHITE LIGHTNING IS THE SAME MOTORCYCLE THE ONLY DIFFERANCE IS THE WHITE LIGHTNING IS WHITE, AND THE S1 LIGHTNING COMES IN DIFFERENT COLORS. THEY HAVE THE SAME MOTORS WITH THE FAST HEADS. After I pointed out the VIN# differences "YS" vs "SS" and all bikes now have the TStorms they said: 1999 and up models do not have the fast heads.my motor cycle is the same as a white lightning its just not white. like before the W IN S1WL JUST MEANS ITS WHITE.WE ARE A HARLEY DEARLER SHIP WE KNOW WHAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT BUDDY.IF YOU WANT THE BIKE ITS 6,300 DOLLARS SO PLACE YOUR BID. Think their 14,000mi 98S1WL is worth that? NOT! |

eBay Gems like: josh, my motorcycle has 104h/p at the rear wheel last time we dynoed it. I KNOW MY PRODUCT THATS WHY I HAVE 3 OF THEM.THE X1'S AND S3'S DO NOT HAVE THE THUNDER STORM HEADS IF THEY DID MY FRIEND SHOULD BE ABLE TO HANG WITH ME AND THEY CANT BUELL JUST TELLS THAT THEY DO BUT THEY ARE LYING, ACORDING TO MY DYNO, THEY PUSH 89BHP AND THATS A FACT.AND I DONT NEED YOUR HELP TO SELL MY BIKES I SELL EVERY DAY and YOU DONT KNOW SHIT.HARLEY LET ALL COLORS AT THE SAME TIME THAT YEAR AND ALL 99 AND UP MODELS DO NOT HAVE THE FAST HEADS YOUR STUPID.JUST SHUT THE HELL UP. after I repeated that the S1WLs started out all white then mid-year switched to all colors: And this is bull shit cause two of my friends, one has a white lighting and the other has a black one and both are dated in FEBUARY when they were made. So: He doesn't understand RWHP vs published/crank hp. He doesn't know when Thunderstorm heads shipped. He doesn't understand Harley/Buells "model year" ... I finally emailed him the link that says TStorms shipped on 98 S1WL, S3/T and all 99-up bikes. but he hasn't responded. Ok, I had a little too much fun. Josh |

Josh, this crap is coming from a dealership?? I work at an H-D dealership, and we work on Buells...well...I work on Buells, LOL. But I don't know everything, and I don't pretend to. Sounds like that's what they are doing, is pretending. I wish these jackasses would quit being pricks like that..it makes the rest of us that really do try, look bad :P On a lighter note, it looks like the "KC bunch" may have another recruit in the works...guy brought in a 97 S1..bought it in Michigan for $4700 !! And this thing is pretty clean, and runs damn nice. LOL, you guys ought to see this dude...he's gotta be at least 7' 300+lbs. I haven't quite figured out where the hell he's gonna sit on that tiny seat LMAO!! Gonna try to get him to join us here on the badweb Traveling preperations are in full tilt..Sam got his bags for the XB, and he's welding up my exaust bracket "just-in-case" ...not that it would vibrate apart or anything..M2 is in about 3195.43 pieces ATM lock titeing every nut and bolt, hehe. Starter gasket blew AGAIN. Made a redneck catchcan too, hehe. Racerboy, planning on leaving KC at around 2p.m. on Wendsday..ETA of around 8p.m.? Should we grab vittles on the way, or are we getting together to go eat some porkchops??? heehee. Also, how many miles is it to Deals gap? Need to figure out if I gotta do tires AGAIN :P Ok, I'm done wasting space Frank |

Frank, He claimed he worked for a dealer, but the number he posted was some little independent in a 1horse town called Conway,SC. I was only trying to help him correct his ad and was actually very nice even after we went ballistic. DaveT came over tonight. Damn I want an S1WL... Josh |

Frank, Its about 550 miles from Bob's house to the gap. Figure you will ride close to 2000 miles before you get back to Missouri and then however many miles it is to your house. Just think, 1000 miles of twisties!!!!!! We always put fresh rubber on, just before we leave. The roads have very good traction and like rubber. Bob.. If the guys left I70 at 47 and rode down to I44, we could meet them and eat at Shady Jacks. Just an idea. Might be too much for the night before leaving. Sam.. That XB is going to be the ultimate machine for those roads. If you get tired of riding it, we can switch and you can ride the "oldguy's" Boltbagger.

Yeah, but I got out-bid. $4151 for a low-miles perfect 95 S2. I'm not allowed to bid anymore cause : a) Mariabelen hates red b) she says I can only get 1 more Buell this year, anyone I want as long as it's yellow and says XB9S on it. Women |
