Well, the head light burned out. Was wondering about those head lights some were talking about awhile back that are suppose to be really bright. Anyone got the name and # of them that will work for the XBS models? |

Are they both out? If so it's probably not the bulbs. But in case you need them, Sylvania Silverstars H7 for the XBS |

Nope, just the low beam. Checked the light and it shows the black mark meaning it burned out. Thanks for the info though. That's what I was looking for. |

I have a few cautionary words about the Sylvania Silverstar bulbs. They don't last long. I've gone through 3 bulbs in a year and a half on my 2004 GMC Canyon PU. I wrote to Sylvania about the problem. They evidently know about it because they sent me a package of two new bulbs for free without comment. I hasten to add that the vibration produced by an uncounterbalanced V-twin would be much harder on a bulb than in any automotive application. |

Thanks for the info Ara. Being it's a pain to get to the headlights I don't think I would want to have to replace them repeatedly throughout the year. |
