so i went to the track yesterday, i had a 12.003 at 118 mph with a 1.9 60'. It could be better and with a better 60' a 11.9

I was happy as hell, but the car i build for a kid was wayyyy bad. ran like 3 seconds slower than it should.

man o man! a 12.003! how bad did you want to shave that .003 off!

on your launch, try to slip a little clutch along with a little wheel spin. touchy bit only way to go with out a wheelie bar. have not done it myself on my buell but it worked well with the z1. 11.34 at 116mph.

did an experienced driver take a pass in the car?
just curious. what altitude is you track at?

i need to get the buell to the track myself.

later...philip

well the car is an auto, it jsut needs a 4k stall tq converter to get it going. the stock one is wayyyy crappy for the 50 trim turbo i put on it.

It is at sea level or really close. and it didnt bother me too bad, i didnt think id run the time i did. but i was consistent at 12.3 ill try next weekend to dip in the 11s maybe put my PC3 back on and give it a go

and mods are
K&N and velocity stack (which fell off at teh 1/4 mile mark on the first run. felt sooo stupid)
Buell Race pipe,
Race ECM
113 octane
Vance and hines exhaust
adn a penske rear shock on middle setting
