Reported 28th Jan, Belfast Telegraph McWilliams on provisional entry list for 2006 Moto GP. Reported in yesterday's Sporting Life with direct quote from JM. Maybe a slight hint I'll grant yer, but why the effing secrecy? I've never know a company so secret about model launch, race involvement or most anything. Frankly it makes me dislike them as a company when they're so secretive to their fans. That and the fact that they keep going off half cocked since the days of the S1W. Rocket |

Right, cause they should inform the competition of their intentions well before hand. Good grief man, seems to me that this is just now really coming together and that to have announced anything prematurely would have been horribly irresponsible. |

Everyone else does. Take for example MV. They didn't show at all in November at the NEC International Bike Show. By way of compensation MV are showing now today at the Ally Pally Road Racing show for the first time outside of Italy their MV F4 1000 Veltro Strada. This is the most powerful MV road bike to date and is put together by MV Agusta Corse in San Marino. This is the road version of the more powerful Veltro Pista, which pundits believe is a look into MV's future WSB effort. Not only that. MV hasn't got a Brutale 910R they can show because it's so new, so they've sent the MV Agusta Corse built special edition Starfighter Titanium R instead. I love it when car and motorcycle manufacturers wear their heart on their sleeve. I'm off to London Friday. I'll post pic's but I'm sure there'll be some amongst us who prefer the looks of a Z1000 instead of a Brutale. Shame on them Rocket |

Terry, Are you going to be using a quick change setup for tire changes? Say hi to Dean for me. He's a great guy, I used to race with him. Jim |

Is Jeremy MCWilliams Rinding a Buell or not? Is it just for Daytona or the full FX season? http://www.jeremymcwilliams.com/news.php From www.jeremymcwilliams.com, "...I’m still chatting with Peter Clifford from MotoGP’s WCM team about a lot of things, but nothing has been decided – even though my name was included on Dorna’s official entry list issued last week doesn't mean I'm contracted to ride. This is where my long term in racing takes a strange turn, or another direction. I've been asked to test with different teams and most recently I’ve also been testing for WARRS London (Harley-Davidson). Don’t look so surprised! I have been working with them testing a Buell in the States and that’s been going good – it’s got some speed. I’ll be testing with them again on February 6 in America to see if we can get the bike up to speed for the season ahead. Whether I test more or race with them will be decided after this next session..." |

The new road racing world article "a Factory Racebike for Privateers" seems to confirm the rumors. "If this all sounds too good to be true, keep your eyes on the Daytona 200 this year when four Buell dealerships from America, Canada, Germany, and England enter XB-RRs ridden by Mike Ciccotto, Pascal Picotte, Rico Panzkopher, and Jeremy McWilliams."
