has anybody heard anything more on the direct link software that daveS & al have been working on? i've been tempted to call them to see whats been up but don't want to disturb them while they are dyno tunning/learning software. i'm sure they are going as fast as possible but this is just killing me to wait on this! my ecm is out of the bike ready to ship and i cant even ride due to the snow here in massachusetts. was just looking for some updates that i may have missed. |

Al and I are very close, but there are still just a couple of SW issues to get straight. Al taking a day off and is out riding his dirt bikes this weekend. I worked on the fuel curve on the Micron MAP on my "ULY" Friday and Sat. It is at 99.87 RWHP and the torque is still well above 80 ft/lbs. ... Brian is helping me as there still seems to be a couple of cells in the MAP that have to have two more HP in them. ... Al will post something next week, but again we are very close. ... Terry |

I haven't done any mapping with the Jardine yet. I will get my guys on it soon. I was gone most of the week at the dealer meeting in Dallas. Hang in there! |

Not married to set value as we like the bike to tell us what it wants. Now having said that on the street it's right around 13.5 and for higher HP "Open Loop" track bikes 12.8 to 13.2. ... If we see anything we don't like in the torque or HP curve we look at the plugs, pipe color and adjust as necessary. ... Also some exhaust systems seem to have a good amount of reversion skewing the A/F. ... Tuning Buells is not always a money making effort, but again we feel that we all win when all Buells run well. ... Terry |
