I finally got around to trying it out. No problems at all lifting my Ss by the Drummer SS.

What jack is that? I could really use one of them.
How does it keep the bike steady and safe?

That's what I use. Bought mine at Harbor Frieght. Only problem is when you remove a tire, it tips over to the heavy side.

I use a bucket under the non-removed side to prevent it.

XB9dan I got the jack at Pep Boys for around 60 bucks. Made in China of course but it gets the job done. I made some chocks that fit the contour of the Drummer SS to support it from underneath. I also strap from the footpegs to the jack to stop any possibility of tipping to the side. You probably don't need the straps but better safe than sorry.

I'm surprised that muffler can support the weight of that bike. Cool.

Everyone Please Note: I have a nearly identical but slightly more stable lift from Craftsman that dented my Buell race can. I built a custom 23.5" X 6" X 1/8" steel plate bolted across the lift to even out the pressure. I painted then covered it with the stuff you put in drawers as a liner to keep it from scratching. I can pull either or both wheels off no problem.

Ray, I've lifted several 9s & 12s with Drummers, Buell race pipes and stock pipes with no problem at all. My chocks are made of 2" wide PVC.

Twintour, I know I should leave the belt guard on, but it just looks so much better to me that I guess I'll leave it off. If the belt breaks I guess its my bad and I'll buy a new one. I blew the belt off of my XB9s doing a wheelie and it wasn't hard to replace. In fact the worst part was removing the belt guard & putting it back.

Hey Jerseyguy, here's a thought. I think Keven should hire you to make a bunch of those chocks for him so he can sell them. Just think of it. The Drummer pipe & the ultra cool accessory Drummer chocks (jack not included of course).

Metal - I CNC'd them because I can but you could make them out of some wood 4x4s saber sawed to the approximate shape.

I removed the belt protection on my Buell before the belt snapped (12,000 miles) I pulled up the front end and boom nothing. Funny thing is I hardly noticed it until I hit te throttle lol. It seemed un nesecary to have a belt guard after that so off it stays.

Jerseyguy, I do have something that I made out of 2x4s. It's not totaly contoured to the pipe but it works.
It's just that compared to yours, mine are FUGLY!

But it does work so I ain't complaining : )
On edit: I wish I had a sabre saw. I did it the hard way with a hand saw & a big wood rasp : )
