JJ, I talked to the guy at Jardine, and he said if I can fax him a receipt they'll replace my pipe. I called my friend in Chi that owns the shop I bought it from, so hopefully I'll have the receipt next week. The guy at Jardine knew exactly why it pulled apart too. He said that if my bike has some other aftermarket stuff (airbox eliminator) on it that makes it run lean it fries the fiberglass and the pipe will destroy itself. I guess I need to get the Race ECM or a PCIII so I can get the lean out of my bike. I would like to have the PCIII so I can get it dynoed and set just for my bike, but that is big bucks! Later. |

James, same thing happened with my other jardine and I talked to a guy there who gave me the same schpeil, and I faxed him my receipt and everything worked out, got a new pipe no questions asked. I'm sure they're gettin a little tired of replacing pipes. I wouldn't bet on another refund, tho. DOH! Looks like the weekend is gonna be suhweet weather, more sunday than saturday but I know I'll be tryin to tear somethin up both days. I'm up for gang bangin the fitty's on sunday tho. Everybody kinda needs to look at their calendars to when we can plans some trips this year. I know I'm free just about anytime so I ain't skeered to go whenever, but we NEED to plan some bada$$ rides like what everybody's talkin about. |

Darn. Moto GP is in Spain in March. That won't work. But it is in Portugal in September. Thats not far from Spain! I priced airfare to Daytona for the 200 race. Unfortunately, everything I am finding is well over $500 bucks. It IS going to be on TV (I've heard), so at the very least we can watch it. |

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hey guys. Any chance of uniting the two KC threads here? Don't shoot me! Just asking. Seems like most folks post on both threads. United we stand, time heals all wounds, divided we fall,... and all that. Sorry for any confusion the rework on the Storm Fronts main page might have caused. Y'all please rock on! |

Blake, unfortunately I think we would lose a few by trying to join the kc guys back together...It's a nice thought and hopefully having the 2 threads isn't a huge headache for you, however I don't think time will ever bring a couple in the group back together....and I would hate to lose the input from the guy's that wont deal with Gail's.. I dunno...I don't really care as long as I have a place to post up info for rides and events. Two threads in KC does seem a bit redundant and just because someone posts under a certain thread doesn't mean they have to associate with them. Either way, it's not my decision, just my two cents. Others thoughts??? (Message edited by dtx on January 14, 2006) |

Would it help if the Brag club banner were removed? This isn't a Brag site after all. Say the word and I'll zap it. or not. |

My main concern would be for Das, we just got him back and I wouldn't want to lose him again...Nobody is quite as warped, so he can't be replaced....(although Lowflyer is runnin' a close 2nd) Larry |

You all do what you want, because that is what you all really want to do. I want nothing to do with anything associated with Gail's. After she finally chases off all her customers when the Harley fad fades with the hobby bikers. I don't think I would even walk in that building after Freedom Cycles buys it in the bankruptcy sale! Don't do anything on my account. But please understand I want nothing to do with the Stepford bikers there. My son is owed an apology I know he will never get. I will never forget that and time will never heal that! I could go on but I won't waste any more time on Gail's related crap! P.S. I was told by more than one Mob member (it might have been exactly two) that since I was not in the original group, I really was not a Mob member. Since I was told I was not a Mob member by two "founding" members, I have no desire to ever post in the KC Mob thread. I do not go where I am not wanted! Not that my opinon counts since I am new and really don't own a Buell (but have 2 buell titles to my name LOL). I really don't care to post ANYTHING that is tied to Gail's. I have never had a good experience there, I have been treated like crap and like I did not anything everytime I have been in there by the sales, service and parts staff. For example I was going to buy a custom bike from there and the sales staff was talking smack like I could not afford it, and tried to sell me an 883. So I ended up building the POS instead, so guess I can thank the A-holes for that. I would not stop and on the place if it was on fire. That's my take on the whole thing. There are a few other reasons why I don't care to post to the other board either. I can't ride for a few weeks either, the forks are off the bike and need to get dropped off to be rebuilt ASAP. Where is the spot at??? Give me a call and I will meet you all there to get out of the house, and chill, or you roll out to my place and tear the street and constrution site up. Let me know I will talk at you all. later. |

The following is NOT directed at anybody: I was talking to my wife about this situation with the two groups, because she was curious about all the drama. Her comment as an outsiders point of view (regarding everybody). "For a bunch of guys who are "tough motorcyclist", you guys can be awfully sensitive!" Point taken... |

I think it is high time we move on. Put the past in the past, associate who you want to associate with, and lets just ride. In fact, most of the people who had tiffs with these other people rarely (if ever) post anymore! |

I will say one more thing and then I am moving on. About what the wife/girl friend comment about being too sensitive. If a staff member said something totally inappropriate to or about your wife/girl friend, I don't think you or she would be so forgiving. Add to that a good number of other valid reasons... and you would understand my feelings are more than being sensitive for a tough motorcyclist. It is not about being tough or being a motorcyclist, it is about being treated with dignity and mutual respect. There was a lot that made me decide to walk away from the BRAG group. The straw that broke the camel's back was the inappropriate way Roger spoke to my son after Scott worked all day helping at the demo ride. If anyone has any questions about Scott's demeanor or typical behavior, don't think it is a parent talking. Ask Shazam about my son. Add to that all the work I did to try and get the BRAG group up and running, then to be told by two "founding" MOB "members" I basically had no standing because I was not in the original group. I have no time in my life for people who can't treat others the way they insist on being treated. Respect is earned by deeds and actions. To get respect you must give respect. It is a mutual thing. I think the women would be less prone to forgive if it had been them or their child that had been treated with disrespect and inappropriately by a member of Gail's staff. I will refrain from listing the Gail's staff members and "founding" MOB members that can kiss my a$$! I got no more time in my life for this crap! I will NEVER change my opinion about Gail's and her staff. I don't want to associate with anyone who feels even after being invited into a group, I really don't have a right to an opinion about that group because I was not a "founding" member. Taking the BRAG group after Tripper moved was one of the bigger mistakes I have made in the last 10 years. It took something that was fun and relaxing and turned it into a mess because of people who DON"T want to get along with others, who somehow make them self feel better by treating others in a demeaning way, or manipulate club members into Stepford bikers. I've had all the badweb I want in my life. Don't base the decision about the unification of the threads because of me. |

Y'all grudge holders ought to try maintaining a discussion board some time. No big deal, I am entirely ignorant of the dust-up that divided some of you folks; didn't notice anything in the history of either thread; didn't look too thoroughly though. Sorry for opening old wounds. Carry on. Do y'all still want to call your board here "KC's Least Wanted"? Or would you like a new moniker? |

A new one would be cool. 'Least Wanted' sort of makes makes me think of loitering crack-addicted homeless people. Not that there is anything wrong with that. How 'bout "KC Underworld" Other than that, I like "KC Lowflyers" Or, we could just stay Least Wanted. (Message edited by Lowflyer on January 14, 2006) |

Just out of curiousity, who are some of the members who founded the KC Mob. I know Tripper, Shazam, Thunder, and KCbill have been involved a long time. Who else is in the family tree? |

Blake, Thanks for keeping the two different threads, I would hate to lose some of the KC's Least Wanted members. There is definately two different groups in KC that share a lot of the same members excluding a few. It will remain that way as long as there are Buell riders in this city. Das, I agree with you some wrongs can never be corrected and time does not heal everything. Keep it KC's Least Wanted, because that is what we are and we have points covers that a good friend of the group has custom made for the founding fathers. LOL |

Hey Blake, Something else for you to look into. I noticed that you have moved the KC's MOB up to the top, it would be nice if you could move ours up there since we are one of the most active threads on this board. I mean we have only been around for 8 months or so and we all ready have close to 1600 posts. Just something to think about. Maybe set up the storm fronts so it is in order by the number of active posts so everyone will know who has the most active group. |
