I got a Craftsman Cycle/ ATV jack for Christmas, and was wondering if any of you have tips for safely using it under the rounded muffler on my 12R? It seems like the bike wants to "roll" to one side or the other. Also, where is the best place to run the straps? I did do a search, but all I came up with is a bunch of discussions about custom lifts. I'm not particularly adept at fabrication, nor do I have the tools to do such, so I need to figure out the safest way to use what I have... Thanks! -Mike |

Use straps. Or you can get one of these.

I'd love one of those, but I have space issues and $$$$ issues- too many hobbies, not enough garage space! As for straps, I did use them, but I still wasn't too confident. I'm looking for suggestions on the best locating points... -Mike |
