Author Message   Rarebird Posted on Wednesday, January 04, 2006 - 02:36 am:        I got a Craftsman Cycle/ ATV jack for Christmas, and was wondering if any of you have tips for safely using it under the rounded muffler on my 12R? It seems like the bike wants to "roll" to one side or the other. Also, where is the best place to run the straps? I did do a search, but all I came up with is a bunch of discussions about custom lifts. I'm not particularly adept at fabrication, nor do I have the tools to do such, so I need to figure out the safest way to use what I have... As for straps, I did use them, but I still wasn't too confident.
