PS, Johnb I agree the site could be better. The job of the website is to get customers into a dealership and on a demo ride. |

The job of the website is to get customers into a dealership and on a demo ride. Dave, the bikes portion of the website seems pretty well done given that this is their philosophy. They did some significant upgrades to the site for the 06 model release, adding wallpapers, more photos, etc. The major problem to me is with the accessories and gear. Daves seems to be one of the 2 or 3 dealers in the whole country that stock any substantial amount of Buell merchandise. Those of us who don't live near Appleton, Stone Mountain, etc. have to go off of what info we find at buell.com and here at BadWeb. More info on the gear section of buell.com would be really helpful. Should the accessory catalog be available at our dealers? Does it have more detailed info than the website? |

Leave the website alone. If it weren't for the website's interactivity and it's videos I wouldn't have made a firm decision to buy a buell. That website made me a believer in Erick buell and it show cases the bikes really well. Walking into a HD dealership wasn't enough. I was looking for something fresh and innovative. I would like to be able to buy buell accessories online. That was my only disappointment. The site showcases all these wonderful accessories but about 95% aren't in reach where I live. No shops these days stock anything so there was no way I could get a preview before I bought it which I'm kind of use to. Until I found this website (badweather) I had no idea where to get this stuff. I'm sure there are tons of buell owners that aren't internet savvy and are just as clueless like I was. The two Harley dealerships near Orlando don't stock any buell parts. It's a good thing that aftermarkets have embraced the xb's now its time for Harley and buell to step up. |

I agree. Most dealers don't stock even a Buell T-shirt, much less any accessories. I'd like to see the Buell tankbag without dropping $100 on it. It looks like it will be way too big for what I want it for and I'm not fond of strap on bags because the straps flap around when you aren't using the bag. |

Would be keen-o if the Buell site allowed you to order the accessories online from the site w/ option to pick-up at your neareast dealer. Going to a dealership to order just about anything requires that "you" first have to explain what the hell you are talking about / want... And yeah, more t-shirts! With more creativity! |

Whodom, The catalog is pretty much the same info as the website. Isham, You can buy Buell stuff online. I have your info, email me what you want and I'll send it. See how easy that is! Chad, Order one up from me. If you don't like it when you get it send it back. Yes, it will cost you a few bucks for shipping if you don't like it but that way your not stuck with it. Midknyte, I don't like that plan, nope, don't like it at all. Sponsors like us and others here and at other Buell websites have worked hard to build up a good reputation in the Buell community and Buell riders reward us by doing business with us. To let dealers that don't care about Buell get business basically for free, just for being in a close location and just handing over the order doesn't seem quite fair to me? I guess I still believe in EARNING the business. |

Speaking of the 12x low seat I picked one up this morning/afternoon from my local dealer... $196 and change out the door.... What a pain in the keaster to get that front ECM bolt out in order to install the ECM protector/stand-off...(needed for the low seat install).... Darn near as much the same pain in the arse getting the stand-off in... Simply put, there is little room for a wrench, socket, etc to get a grip on the bottom nut.... After some crafty finagling I got it out and the new one in... Once this hurdle is overcome, no prob.. the seat, seats in just like the OE version... |

I personally like the Buell website and fortunately have learned via Badweb that if I want anything that is an actual Buell part, DAVES is da man. I have bought something from a good deal of the sponsors here and I have to say, all were positive experiences. Good deals, great people, quality parts and fast delivery. It's all good |
