Ok i have the force exhaust and ultimate airbox, well K&N wither cover over filter only. so i need more fuel. she cuts out if i get off the throttle fast. call hals and they said that the PC3 looses it map and is unreliable. also heard that the TFI wont add the correct amount of fuel. what do i do? how have people been able to run that exhaust? i have the race ecm but that doesnt seem to matter. well i have also found Rapid-bike ecm.. fuel controller.. well any insite will help but please !!! thankyou |

Will be just fine-well within the standard managements capabilities ie. the lambda sensor will correct the mixture to suit. The bike needs to be run in 'closed loop' for around 2 mins. Closed Loop = engine at 80C+ , light throttle, 5th gear...ie. motorway, gentle cruise at 70ish for a couple of minutes. This is what I was told to do by our Buell master here in the UK. I've got and SX with a Drummer style exhaust and just about to fit Trojans Ultimate airbox with K & N. I'll let you know how it goes. Take it easy - Dan |

With that set-up you would need to use the PC-III, there is a position on the fuel map where you'll have to decrease fuel, the TFI only allows for addition of fuel. |

You need the PCIII. You will also need the hi-po O2 sensor. It will need to be dyno tuned unless it's a 12, then I can give you my map. Just for the record, I've been running a PCIII for about seven months or so now and have never lost a map. Even through disconnecting the battery. No offense Dan, but you are incorrect. The Force pipe requires a very different "fuel curve" than the original system. You can settle the AFV either at 2500 and be !!VERY!! lean at 3500, or you can settle the AFV at 3500 and be !!VERY!! rich at 2500. The Drummer reacts much better to not having a PCIII. It's fueling needs are "reasonably" close to the stock curve. I have both, but I use a PCIII for both. |

No worries M1, guess the guy was referring to my setup only. |

What would happen if you lost a map? It wouldn't run? |

It would revert to the stock map. It would be like turning the PCIII off. |
