Hello all, I'm new here and new to Buell. I know a little about them as I have been lusting after the Firebolt ever since it was introduced. But, this year the opportunity finally presented itself, and I took the plunge. I am now the proud owner of a 2005 Firebolt XB9R. Thanks to Daves I am now a member of the madness. I have been patrolling this website for a couple months and it will be my first source for parts and info on my new bike. I have to echo the sentiment on this board about Daves. The guys a Buell wizard. I go to pick the bike up on Tuesday, and he even offered to do a suspension setup to get the bike right for me. It's going to be a long couple of months staring at the Buell sitting in the garage waiting for the Wisconsin thaw. Thanks again Dave, and thanks to all of you for a great website, I will be a frequent visitor. Schmitty |

Did ya git a yella one? That's my favorite! This is great resource for information and as much advice that anyone can get. Remember what Xbduck said "Please don't feed the animals". Welcome to the madness! |

I'm also new to this website, being put onto it by John from John's V Twin in Savannah, GA. I purchased a 2005 XB12Scg from Ocala HD, great price and they delivered it to me in Savannah free. Since the HD shop here won't work on or sell Buell, John does all the work on them locally, and I might add he does a great job. It is still one of the shops where all the customers sit around and drink coffee and watch the work going on. John, and his wife, are also Buell owners and riders. (He bought my first Buell, a heavily modified XB9SL I bought off ebay) And also has a 12S. Anyway, I've become addicted to this site and am looking forward to reading the new info and making mods to bike as I can afford them. Thanks Stan BTW I have seen DAVES all over the site and I agree that he and COURT seem to be the reigning Gurus!!! |

Hey, I started reading here a while back, and finally joined the Buell owners cult as of last Thursday, sort of a Christmas present to myself, a Y2K M2. Lot I don't know, a little I don't like, but a LOT I do. Only gotten to ride it home, as it's been pouring rain ever since. Sorry, but will likely ask a lot of dumb questions in the near future. I'm getting better at the SEARCH function though. (Message edited by jayvee on December 27, 2005) |

Congratulations. I hope you take Daves up on setting up your suspension. Getting that right and keeping tires at proper PSI is critical to getting the most out of these bikes. These thing are pure joy in the twisties |
