HELL YA! finally got to ride the 03 xb9r i got shipped to me from new jersey. it's been sitting here for a few weeks now, roads have had alot of ice spots on them and just really dont feel like riding on that. it was still a little slick out though. i went to pass this truck that was doing like 45 and i down shifted, pinned it, and had the a$$ end of the bike hanging a good foot out to the side the whole time i was going past him. that. it had to of been a site, wish i had it on video! well it was fun atleast, and i got my fix for a little while atleast some of you may have read about the fact that when i got this bike it had alot of fuel in the oil(could not for the life of me find my thread back, even with the exact words), and that all the signs lead me to believe it had been run with the fouled plug for to long. i still believe that is true now. since i was finally able to put more gas in it and ride it for about an hour it seems to run good enough. maybe not as good as my other xb9r, but this one is also completely stock. where as the other one is breathing alot more freely from the open intake, gutted can, ect. |
