I sat on a 12scg today at the dealership. It seems allot shorter than my 12s. is it just the seat? Shocks? my bike has a streetfighter seat and it seems much taller. Streetfighter vs. scg seat comfort, anyone have any experience? |

Is it in the springs? Are they interchangeable? |

I think the rear spring is swappable, but the fork tubes are physically shorter. Contact DaveS at appleton h-d. He's converted several...in both directions. You may even find someone here that wants to swap parts. |

Thanks Diablobrian. I will call him and find out the specifics. Sounds like a good winter project. |

I've got an Ironmachine Rear Shock Spring, NIB that cost 114.95, I'll sell you for $75. I got it as payment for sponsorship, and I'll sell it to you if you need it. Custodians, deal as you need. |

no, it's stronger, it is the stock size for the stock 12's, but stiffer rated 400X570 LBS. But remember, it's just the spring. |
