I tried to post this and didnt see it,, IF i am reposting I am sorry, I just got my 06 XB12r and I have the D@D slip on comming. I really dont want to buy the race computer and have to go through all the reset stuff but have herd that If i do put a slip on on that I have to put on the race computer casue it will run lean?? please any info would be great |

I'm not sure about the D&D, but I've been running my Jardine for about 4K without the Race ECM. It pops and crakles more than it would with the ECM, but it runs fine. |

you'll probably be ok with just the slip-on, however if you put in the k&N and make mods to the intake I'd worry about leaning it out and damaging your motor. You will also need to get an emulator for the exhaust valve to avoid constant trouble codes from your ecm. |

I put on the D&D slip on the first month I got my XB12r, Sounded great like I knew it would, ran lean which is ok, but when I changed the EMC thing got noticibly better... much better . I high recommend the race emc, just my opinion based on my limmited experince with mods. |

I have a Drummer on my 12R with out the race ecm or filter. It is running ok with a lot of backfire. I have the race ecm and just waiting to buy the filter so I can do the rest of the install. Then get the TPS reset or buy the software to reset my own TPS. I have been waiting for winter to hit and the holidays to be over with. |

sportriderwv...check the sponsers like american sportbike..hillbilly motors..or Daves in appleton they will most likly be able to get the emulator plug for you. |
