Javahed! That's a great story! Haven't had any personal experiences of the sort, but I live in the car-theft capital of North America, so it's just a matter of time. I can certainly see the attraction in their program. I admire their patience. |

FMJ - The FZ1 was in Porterville and I was in Mariposa...so I had to ride the Katabusa. Somehow I'll survive. Dino |

Here are some pics from the STC ride this weekend. I couldn't make it, drip free but running lean, so Shotgun took a few pics for everyone to enjoy. Looks like they had a lot of fun, trip report anyone? STC members at Buell Park School House made with lumber from Buell mill. |

Hey Northwesterners - Don't let Ferris et al twist your tails. As you can see from the photo (taken yesterday in Yosemite National Park), winter-like weather has hit central California early and hard. Dino, i was sniffing around Sequoia Nat'l Park yesterday on the VFR, at altitudes up to 6700+ feet (General Sherman Tree and Lodgepole Village), and IT ONLY GOT UP TO 65 DEGREES -- BRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i know it's not quite winter, tho, as i had the liner with me but never had to zip it in. and snuggle-bunnies? yep, there were a few... Javahed, I took the liberty of posting your link on the GDB. They've been needing a change of subject for a few days. |

Vancouver area Buellers! There's a toy run this Sunday from Chilliwack to Abbotsford. There are some pretty sweet roads in the area and I for one am going to take advantage as long as it's not pouring. Anyone from the Vancouver area in? The red X1 has recently become the blue (streak) X1 with the aquisition of some brand new bodywork.Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! Bib |

Well just got home from a pre splash ride, Chris was able to script the first 190 mi. of our map. It will be nice to distribute route sheets and tell people have a good time see ya all in Packwood. Matt I thought about you today while haulin butt through Wind River. Ferris you had better bring Ducati boy with ya to splash next year. Fireman Jim also needs to represent. Heck Ferris why not have an all Cali invasion to the Rainforest! Gee I guess I miss everybody. Mike |
