I would love to but I am dead broke. If you are willing to let me have it and I will pay you in aprox 1.5 years |

bummer time of year to be buying another toy, for me at least -- otherwise, I'd be deep in negotiations with the Chachellor of the Exchequer ;-} |

yeah, but in the grand scheme of things, smiles on the girlses faces vs yet another project -- no brainer (I still gotta break ground on the 650 twin, and the Model A REALLY needs some help ;-} ) |

I keep offering to help relieve you of the pressures of maintaining that Model-A, in fact I'm even willing to possibly throw in a small canoe and a couple of raspberry plants to sweeten the deal. (of course, if'n ya did do the swap you probably be sleeping in the canoe and living off the raspberry bush for some time to come, so I'm thinkin' ya won't go for it, oh well - foiled again....) Hmmm, oh yeah, back on topic: Somebody buy this guy's 1973 XL, once you do you will understand and no explanations will be necessary. (I'd could maybe make that blink, but that might overdo it a bit) |

Silas -- good plan! Mike -- nope, not even close -- there'd be a screaming deal on a M2 bobber, and a small machine shop free for the taking -- I shudder to even think about it ;-} |

"ah, the heck with it, i'm keeping it for another 25 years" My '79 has been for sale three times. I always chicken out in the end. |

It's just that I haven't rode the thing...I love it, but I hate to let it just sit. |
