Anyone out there run a Wileyco can on their X-1's? My V&H can seems to have finally given out. I may try to re-weld some of the parts with stronger stuff, but I want a change until I can get ti fixed. The Wileyco seems to be a good swap for the money, as good ole ebay has a few on there for cheap. The question is, what models will fit, i.e. S-1, S-3, M-2?? or is there a X-1 only piece that I need to look for? |

Good Question, Cas4 lists the WC507 as X1 & M2 2000-present. The Wileyco site lists the 'WC507' as X1 '01-'02. and 'WC504' as X1 '99-'00. I have the WC507a in Ti on my '01 M2. one site says I should have a 'WC503'. Oh well. Fits fine, mounts easy, louder than stock & got rid of the torque hole around 3k. Compared to the massive stock lump the Ti muffler weight seems about the same as a loaf of french bread. I don't know about spoiler mounting, are there tabs on the stock muffler? I have heard that the new Wileyco's do not use the 4 bolt flange setup that mine has. Anyone know? |

new gen Wiley's do not use the four-bolt flange -- I've seen a couple -- ditto Aesquire's comments on Wiley's product -- I've got about 40K miles on mine (M2, though, not X1, same can though) -- no spoiler mounts on the stock can, so mounting the Wiley should pose no problems -- |

I ended up getting a carbon fiber Wileyco can. It is set up for the updated front "y" mount, and has the 4 bolt flange that connects the pipe to the canister, I'll give it a shot when I get my new front mount. |
