Who is "Daniel S" in Arlington? He's pinned on the map but has not posted (that I can tell) on the BadWeB boards! Plans are in the works for a December 3 or 4 ride - keep an eye out for an email soon! If you're not on our DFW Buellers email list, PM me! |

Steve! Hey amigo! Too cool of you to take time to video us slow pokes at OHR. I didn't even know you were a lurker here let alone had joined the sickness and snagged an XB12R. Great to see you here. Let me know when you are up for another track day. Keith, We can do the hosting here. Email the file to me at my BadWeB email address, the "Blake@..." one. |

Dago, Congrats on the kid! It's that time of year again. We need to start planning the 2nd "Dave's coming to Dallas Buell riders get together and BBQ feast" Looks like I will have a bike again and most of Sunday off. I am bringing Kandie with me so you all can see that she really does exist and for unknown reasons to me, wants to be with me. Remember last year, giving me crap about me just making her up since none of you had met her. Til Erik vouched for me. Anyhoo, We are both really looking forward to it this year. I'm bringing a ULY this year since we will only have room for one bike for Kandie and I to ride on. Don't worry I can wheelie the ULY pretty good now too. I am working on "special" guests. NO OKRA this year Think we can shorten the route to Glen Rose? I am not going to have all day this year. For plenty of BS time, I'm thinking the ride should be about 100 miles out,100 miles back? I hope it warmer this year. I will be able to bring parts to save you shipping again this year too. Start thinking what you might need. Can't wait to see all of you and go for a ride. It's 30 and snow on the ground up here |

We'll all decide on a good route for ya, Dave. I'm glad to hear you're indeed coming again. FYI: I live 10 miles from the Gaylord now. If you need transportation, lodging, storage...anything, just say the word. You know how to find me. I can't wait to meet your better half! |

Well, I did the unspeakable today. I put a deposit down on the new 25th Anniversary Edition R6 to use primarily on the track. Yes, there will be a million around. But there will only be a hand full of black & yellow ones. And I'm NOT getting rid of the Buell. So you people will still have to talk to me. |

It probably won't be here by that time. But if I have it, I won't have any reservations about you taking it for a spin. |

In Windows Media Viewer, enable the graphic equalizer ("View - Enhancements - Graphic Equalizer" then starting from the left, max out the first four sliders (all the way up) and minimize the remaining six (all the way down). Then download and play THIS Steve is piloting his GSXR750 behind Keith and the equalizer settings mentioned above help eliminate the higher pitch IL4 noise while still allowing the XB9S growl to come through. |

Fellow Buell'rs, Kevin and I had a GREAT ride with Fast Lane Sportbike Group yesterday. Robert the lead rider of the group took us up somewhat the course Chris took us a couple of weeks back, but on a lot further excursion. We actually were a small group of only 5 riders counting Kevin and I, but it was the perfect size for the way we rode. As Kevin had spoke of, I wouldn't classify this ride as a beginners or even intermediate group to ride with. The course was long and twisty, I never knew these roads existed around here. We took a short dash into Oklahoma across a 2-3 mile bridge, it was straight as the day long. We pushed our bikes to their very limit. Kevin I think hit 130 on that push across, but I can tell you for sure I pegged out my Speedo more times than I care to count. I had that M2 up to 140mph and standing the tach at 7 grand far longer than I ever planned or wanted to. All the bikes performed flawlessly and it was kind of cool watching the lead riders pull away from us at a blistering pace. I think all three bikes ahead of us pulled to around 175mph or greater. I know the ride may sound a bit Crazy Scary, but I never felt afraid. These guys rode good and tight. They followed good lines and respected all towns we rolled through. They waved at every person we came across. They stopped and entertained question at the gas stops and restaurants. I truly felt appreciated riding with them. Kevin has picked a great bunch guys. Yes, the riding pushed my bike and me to the limit a couple of times, but I never felt we crossed that line. I would highly recommend a ride with these guys anytime. I was told this route was wide open and less corners than all previous rides, but I felt like I saw plenty of corners followed by WOT straights. Kevin, thank you for your camaraderie and invite with your friends. See the rest of you guys on December 3. PS, I pulled an inch and half stinger out of my right knee this morning. LOL, I guess that goes with riding. I didn't even know I had been stung. Micah |

Hello. I live in sacramento and am moving to the Waco area for flight school in spring. As soon as my feet hit Texas soil, even before finding an apartment, I'm picking up an XB9; but am not sure where to go. Can you guys point me to a few good shops in the DFW/Waco area? Can't wait to go ridin' around TX! thnx --jeff |

Welcome to Texas! And nice to meet ya. My only real experience with Waco is driving through it. But I do know there's a large sport bike scene there. You are also no the fringe of some excellent riding areas. The Texas Hill Country is just to your south. To your west/nw is very nice as well. I don't have any routes mapped down there, but I'm sure others do and will eventually chime in. |

I think I will be joining again. I have been working to get my New D&D Pipe and Jet Hot coated Headers on. I picked up a new seat and a chin fairing so, if the Gremlins are a sleep I might have it all together and tested before Sat. Please count me in! I really look forward to riding again and the continued dynamics of riding in fast, tight formations! |
