They(HD/Buell) must have already corrected(pummelled the guy that was dropping them into the box) the problem. The last 4 we've got in are just fine. Ride to the edge! Dave HD/Buell Cycle Center 4022 Sergeant Rd Waterloo Ia 50701 1-800-342-7539 ext 14 |

Just got my pegs today, Dave. Thanks a lot. I'd appreciate it if you can still look into the tail conversion for me sometime. Bryan |

Oh no.... Sat on a Black 9S today at the dealer today, whoa, did it feel good!!! ( I know I shouldn't of done that!) Pictures don't do it justice, you gotta see it in person. One BadAss looking machine. It fit me like a glove. I asked the salesman what he could do on a trade with my 9R.... |

Court, We could use more guys like Ferris around here! Ferris, I would love to take the Interceptor on trade, but unfortunately my import connection has put a freeze on giving me any buy bids until spring. Oh by the way, Buell just announced an $800 in-store credit deal for new xb9R purchases, but nothing for the 9S. Sounds like we'll be selling plenty of race kits here soon. That and the new Vanson jackets. (man are these things sweet!) -Justin Schilling Buell Specialist High Country Buell Frederick, CO 303.833.6777 ext. 123 buellriderm2@hotmail.com |

Rode a black 9S home on Tuesday! First things first: Removed mirrors, passenger pegs, & 'Warning' labels off frame. Gotta put another 100 miles on it today for break-in posterity & should be ready to rip by the weekend. OK- here is where it gets interesting. I took the silver fly screen from my X1 & temporarily hung it in place of the 9's shield-shaped fly screen. The bottom mounting holes match perfectly, and although the head on view looks silly with the gap between the XB headlights & the rounded cut out for the X1 light, the profile view is awesome! It's slightly (4-5" taller, matches the XB frame in color, & recalls the tube frame bike's styling. More S1 than S1? I don't know yet. It'd be cool to have a flyscreen made up that incorporates the eye brows of the XB & the height/shape of the X1/S1's. Now if sombody who is handy with that Photo Shop gear would be so kind as to fix one up here, ya'll could see what I'm talkin' about. |

Anony (don't know why you posted that Anony) You can buy the S1 race faring and cut off the number plate where you need it. That way you can get rid of that gap. But you will need to paint. |

About the $800 in store credit for current XB9R owners, No Go I just talked to John in Buell customer service. I've got to be honest that's a little well... I don't know, It's hard to sum up. I purposely bought an XB, not just because I liked it but also to support the company. I didn't wait to see reliability reports from owners, I just bought one. Now 5 months later I could have had an $800 dollar credit. That would go a long way toward a race kit or even just routine maintenance Just my opinion Carter Smith, Bristol PA. |

I think the operational phrase is: "Sh*t happens". How about paying list for a BMW and having them start giving $1,500 discounts THE NEXT DAY! Didn't happen to me, but not uncommon. One can always wait for cheaper and/or a better deal. I paid list for a 'bolt and now some dealers are offering them for $1,000 less - so it goes. Carter - 5 months and $800 = $160 a month - haven't you had at least that much fun on the 'bolt? |

Fasteddieb, Yes, I love my XB (my wife thinks I love the XB too much) I wouldn't trade the last five months of riding for twice that. I’m being selfish I know that. Sometimes things just hit me as wrong. Carter |

Carter, I think your wife and mine have been comparing notes. She doesn't understand the rush that comes over you on the Bolt when you have ridden Harleys the last ten years. I get the bewildered look often from her. Hogman |
