*Brrrr* It was a tad chilly riding this morning... 33 degrees when I left the house. Dana, we fire Sherman, Favre will leave. He's said so. I don't think we're ready for that. Favre still looks as good as he's ever looked. He just doesn't have the talent surrounding him like he's had in the past. That new kid, Gado looked pretty good. |

I said this before the season started and I'll say it again - I personally think letting Mike Wahle and Marco Rivera go was the worst personnel move since Tony Mandarich. This destroyed the running game, leaving only the passing game with marginal protection for Favre forcing him to shoulder the entire offense and try to force things to happen. Once his top reciever got hurt, you could pretty much write off what was going to be left of the season. Sorry Dennis, just frustrated fans venting here... |

Enough of the "Fire Sherman" rants and raves. One bad season doesn't make a bad coach. Let me start with offense: Our #1 running back hasn't started a football game since he was in high school. Our only starting receive from the beginning of the year is Driver. Too many injuries on offense has killing the team. Now for defense: Sherman (the same guy everyone wants fired) brought in Bates last year as defensive coordinator. He has turned a bunch of middle of the road players into one heck of a group. They are holding our opponents to very few points (when given the opportunity). What I mean by "opportunity"...not given a short field. Yestday's game is a perfect example. The Steelers leading reciever had 2 catches for 15 yards!!!! In total, only 219 yards of total offense given up yesterday. Sorry for the rant! Just a frustrated employee |

Motorcycle related note.....anybody have some used Blast tires laying around? Condition isn't important (as long was the threads aren't showing). I'll explain the reasoning later..... |

Dennis, I agree. The "Fire Sherman" ranters aren't looking at a bigger picture. Yeah, GB is having a losing season. Lets face it, we've been spoiled by a decade of wins . But look at all those losses so far this year. They weren't HUGE ones. 1 or 2 plays behind. And look how bad they spanked the Saints. GB is better than the 1-6 record shows. That Gado kid looked *REALLY* good for his NFL debut. What little I saw, looked like he has better reflexes and avoided their defense better than Green has in quite some time. And yes, the GB defense is looking good. Look at what those 5 interceptions against the Bengles last week resulted in. Not much. Lets just keep losing this year, so we get Reggie Bush next year! I say don't win another single game so he doesn't go to Houston |

I'm not calling for anyone to oust Sherman. I think he's doing the best that anyone could do given the current roster. Injuries have been a killer obviously, but I just don't understand letting the core of the OL go. I'm sure the people who made that decision are far wiser on the subject than I, but I do know that even when Green was healthy, he just simply wasn't as productive as last year and I can't help but believe that's in part due to the loss of those two guys. Even before so many guys got hurt, I was a bit worried about the offense with that big hole to fill. Everyone talks about how the Packers are in every game, but just need something to make it all come together. I'm just thinking Wahle and Rivera are the somethings. Just my fan/Monday morning QB analysis which is usually worth less than 2 cents. Anyway, Dennis, about that burnout fetish of yours... |

Nope....not a burnout fetish. I'm just looking to have some cheap winter fun (at the expense of my wife's bike ) I've picked up some cheap bodywork on ebay. Now I'm looking for some used tires. These will be studded for some ice riding . I've been wanting to do this for a few years. But the S1 & S3 are not as "crash proof" as the Blast. My biggest concern is clearance of the front fender. I'll post some pictures if this ever materializes. |

I don't think they should fire sherm I think they need to keep everyone healthy and then beef up the people that need to be "catching the ball".All the injuries do not help either!! Hey Griz, u been watching the games just not with us eh??? LOL Yes, AGREED, we have been spoiled for the last 10 years with good records...no matter what I am still a fan through and through and have been since I can remember and #4 is still my hero!!!! |

Boy I must of came across a little harsh on Sherman. He's been a great coach no doubt about it.Hes given us some great years. My take though is we have a new GM that is definetly is looking into the future.Farve has two years left on his contract and has said he'll be back next year...don't blame him he doesn't deserve to go out like this. Sherman has a renewed 2 year contract but I bet he needs to produce to stay.We are about to see a rebuilding of our team.We all know are Farve is going to retire.... in two years??? Or this year or one more season?? But GM is going to Build his Legacy if he can just like Ron Wolf did with Holmgrem and Sherman?? I'd like to see Farve go out in style also.Just my 2 cents. |

Just my 2 cents. Getting back to MOTORCYCLES, I just got a set of Cycle Cat Frame Sliders for the Ducati. Picked them up off a Duc website $90 new. They go for $150 on the Cycle Cat site. Anyway, it involves removing the front motor mounts, sliding a long stud through and drilling 2 holes in the bodywork. Anyone willing to help out this weekend? Kids are welcomed as well. Just getting bored off my @ss already and winter hasn't even started. Then the following weekend is deer hunting. Let me know. See ya. |

Hey Dennis, There is a small track (or will be soon) right outside the Waverly Beach bar www.waverlybeach.com I also just noticed this on their schedule Friday January 13th through Sunday January 15 - 2006 AMA Amateur National Ice Racing Championships Let me know if you are interested in attending. Our shop is right accross the street. I would love to go and attend that event. |

I think "our" priorities differ. I see myself more like, Catwoman, and Jason sees himself more like Homer Simpson. I might get killed for saying that, but, "C'est la vie!" --I actually meant buying a bike as opposed to Christmas presents.... |

Tom, I'm looking for $200 for it (or the one under my S3 for that matter) but I can be flexible about that. I scraped the one on the M2, but that was before the rear suspension was readjusted to better suit my, er, girth. I'm not sure how it compares to the the V&H, but it can't be too much bigger.
