SPUDMAN- I LOVE YOU! I am sitting at work at my desk crying right now! I miss my husband soooooo much - 4th week out of town and I just got done paging him the "I LOVE YOU" page (4/28 our anniversay) and I look here and see not only HIM but HIM looking DEAD SEXY (I know RAY TMI). Spudman - Thanks again for the awesome photo's.... Now I also have the evidence to prove the scratch on the pegs are his fault (as if they would be mine anyways)! You are quite the photographer. Bob, Deb & Mike left tonight at about 6:00ish for Colorado, they are meeting up with all the people who were going to be at the salt flats this weekend. Anybody who wants to ride Sunday, just show up at Destination Buell in Tigard about 9:30 AM. Had a call from a new Firebolt owner who is dying to meet some other Buell owners and will be there along with me, at least. We can pick a route when we get there Sunday. Just show up. This weather aint gonna last forever. Let's ride. Pretty neat deal if Eric Buell shows up at Aaron's tomorrow to meet the Bonneville bunch. Maybe he'll convince Mike and Bob and Deb to switch back? | ||

things been a whirlwind since Thundercross; just catching up on posts finally.... Nice pics, Spudman. Everyone had a great time (my first one--thundercross that is, not having a great time) and I'm looking forward to getting the group "clean up" picture developed. What, no pictures of that cool green Sprint???!!! Bob and I took 1st and 2nd places respectively in Buell Touring (okay, we were the only two people in the class - - which is the only reason I got 2nd!). Were here! and have been for a couple of days. We have not really had a chance to post yet as things have been busy! We went for a ride in the Rocky's today and it went well ( more details later) Kim, Mike sends his love to you and the boys!!! (Damm, He just Kissed me) (He's been riding with his parachute fully deployed this weekend. Having fun and going to have a party tomorrow after Mike,Debbie and I go for a Peg Scraper up to Estes Park followed by a run down Poudre Canyon. Wish you losers coulda come!! Ahh Mr. Shotgun thanks again for the invite on Sunday, I can't wait to get out with some other bikers. Like I said today I am new to the street bike thing, been riding dirt off and on most of my life. Also new to this lovely state of Oregon (it's so GREEN), been here about a year and a half. Just a small town Montana, yep Big Sky Country, [insert redneck joke here] kid trying to adjust to this big city life. So far go good with the 'Bolt. The only big problem is concentrating at work, on work and constant soreness in my cheeks from this sh!t eating grin I have had on my face since mid June. See ya Sunday... | ||

Use some of that overtime money to buy a Penske shock. They start at a mere $700 and range up to about $1,500 depending on the model. Actually, most people have good luck with the post recall shock from Buell. It would cost no more than $100 and might even be free. Go talk to Scott Moon at Eastside HD. He's a nice man and knows all the options. |
