Good Luck   Madduck Posted on Friday, October 28, 2005 - 12:55 pm:        Tom, Most of the LSR people you find racing on the salt follow the Enzo Ferrari school of design. Brakes, we don't need brakes, ferraris' are meant to "go" not to stop!! No extra credit for stoppies out there. We had three XR-750's in 2003, one of which was set up for short track, no brakes at all. Lookes cool and they had teched the other two so someone missed it. Going 135mph on a 110 record without any brakes at all gets you big trouble in impound. Had to run everything back thru tech again just to see what else we had screwed up. We get to go through tech four (4) times each weekend, just to get on the track.
