I also just purchased the airbox heat barrier, and the underseat heat barrier. Having a new 12Ss with different seat dimensions and mounting points, Odie is creating a new underseat barrier from my specs. Poplifedc, the barriers are two separate items, and do two separate things. The one that gets mounted under the airbox reflects all the hot engine heat away from your intake. As we know, cooler air is better. The second barrier gets placed under your seat to keep all the engine heat away from the "boys". This works awesome. I took a short ride with the standard size under my seat and it was MUCH cooler. So much so that it'll probably be removed when the cold weather hits down here. Well worth the money.
