I just acquired an '01 M2, and it came with a bunch of stuff I don't want/need, so it's sale time. To be honest, I don't know what any of this stuff is actually worth, so you guys can make offers. If it sounds fair, I'll take it, if not, I'll throw the stuff on ebay. Just figured I'd try here first. First up is a M2 Comfort Seat by Buell. Its got a wider dish in the front saddle, and a thicker rear saddle. Great for those that tour. It's in great shape, with no cracks or tears. I'm skinny though, and I ride all up on the tank, so I don't even sit back in the seat. Next up is a high dollar penske rear shock. If you're a bigger rider, ride 2-up, or tour with luggage, then this is for you. The original owner toured the hell out of this bike, and had it set to handle him, his wife, and their luggage, approx 400 lbs. The shock is completely adjustable, and can be backed off to much less than it's current setting. Anything I can find about this shock online give it a thumbs up, and the original owner said it cost him just under $1100. It includes a remote resevoir, which is brand new, as he didn't use it. It will fit the older and newer M2's, as it needed a bracket from an older one to make it fit. The bracket will come with it in case you have the newer M2. It may fit others, I have no idea. Next I have a touring 3-in-1 luggage system. It includes a small sissy bar, small bag/rack, and large bag/rack and rain cover. The large bag is huge, and you could probably pack a weeks worth of stuff in it. The large pack has quick-clips that release it from the rack, and then clip on to shoulder harnesses to make it into a backpack. It's a really neat interchangeable setup, just useless to me, as I don't tour. Installation is pretty straightforward, and still looks alright when not in use. I also have the original carb off the bike. Don't need it since it has a 42mm Mikuni on it. Original H-D equipment: And FINALLY, I have the original Buell exhaust can. Looks like he took the thing off as soon as he bought it, cause the thing hardly has any dirt or wear on it whatsoever. Like I said before, I don't really know what all this stuff is worth. Make offers, counter each other's offers, treat this thread like an auction if you like. Once the offer for any given item sounds fair, I'll contact that person. Thanks for looking. My name's Aaron, and you can call me with any questions you may have, and I'll try my best to answer them. 513.608.6043. You can also email me directly if you like. paperstreetsoapcompany816@yahoo.com Thanks, -ASC Edit- I have no idea what I did wrong hosting my pics, but I can't get it to work. So, if there's an administrator or moderator that can straighten it out, or let me know how to, please do. Much appreciated. Congrats on the purchase - I really like my '99 M2, which has some 37k on it now. I'm a Louisville native & UC grad who misses blasting down Hiway 42 along the Ohio. That shock'd be sweet on my machine - how about $450? p.s. the rack/etc. is the Ventura system - you can price in on American Sport Bike, one of the sponsors' sites. Mine's in use all the time. |
