Try this for a start http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/show.cgi?tpc=47623&post=527441#POS T527441 they are not broken down by color, limited varients with different trim // paint eg X1WL "white lightning" S1W "white lightning" X1 Carbon fiber Extreme ?? X1 Racing Stripe versions, RED & BLUE ?? S2 signature series these are some that I have seen this list is not complete, (Message edited by oldog on October 25, 2005) |

I heard somewhere (most likely here) that there were only something like seven grey S-1Ws with a black (blue?) frame made. That would be a cool find! |

E-mail the color combination you are interested in to me at BuellQuestions@gmail.com and give me a couple days. I can sort the database and see how many were made and where they went. |

If I thought mine were THAT rare I'd be emailing Court too, but I'm safe in the knowledge that mine is THAT rare - as are ALL S1's and S1W's. It might be worth considering if there is such a thing as a really really rare version \ colour combination or whatever of the tube Lightnings that its rarity value is a mute point as its rarity would only probably mean something if it were completely stock and mint. If that were the case though you'd probably need to upgrade any Lightning to make it better to ride than it was out of the box. Unless of course you could stand the Spanish Inquisition over the Heinholtz Box every time you park!!!! Rocket |

Seth, you ain't seen nuthin yet baby!!!! That's an old photo from more than three years ago. I'm waiting for winter to really set in before I post some updated pic's, but before I do I still have a few things to finalize before I'm ready to show the great BadWeB and the rest of the world the truly finished ball bustin arse aching riot on two carbon fiber wheels. Much of the more recent changes have come about through three years of waiting and desiring to rebuild the once broken motor. Now that's done, since June end, I've spent much time riding rather than writing, so now run-in and going great effing guns the old sweaty Big Buell will be the subject of a fancy new overcoat - in the way of a mucho fancyo make-up. The paint job will be ole sweaty bollocks crowning glory. Will shock for sure, and upset some no doubt, so trust me when I say this, it will look f**king superb (sorry about the ole blaspheming but this gets me very passionately LOL) and I'll eat my frigging hat if this great paint job has ever been seen on a Buell anywhere else in the universe. I can't wait. Did I get you curious?? Then great. Hold on to your spectacles and testicles! Rocket |

We're talking paint job here Brad - my design but not my hands working LOL. A friend's doing the paint as a favour for work I've done for him. He's a fantastic painter but also understands the chemistry involved. We're gonna put some flake in it somewhere but how serious the flake I don't know yet. I have what I consider a really great colour scheme and artwork. It's pretty simple in some respects but the tricky bit is getting it to work with the manta-ray tank shape and getting it to continue a good line off the tank to the seat unit. As you might expect from the Rocket master it's gonna be controversial to some for sure, and I know why, but there's a great explanation I have ready and the link between my idea and an S1 Buell can be forged though at first sight lots of people will not see it that way. The main thing is it is gonna look fantastic - even on a Buell LOL. And no it involves no skulls and no flames and nor has a Buell ever been so boldly and cheekily painted. Roll on winter!!!!
