What are your thoughts on the Extra Torque Pulley Kit from Trojan Horse? I know that the bike already has alot of torque, BUT I WANT MORE. I have been thinking about this for a while. Can you think of any problems that this would cause for the bike? With this kit do you think that the bike will run at an uncomfortably high RPM level? Give me your thoughts. |

My understanding is you will wheelie easier, but lose top end speed. I was also under the impression that your RPM's would increase at cruising speed by about 10%. That is, if you were doing 55mph at 4000 rpms before, you would need to pull 4400 rpms to rum at 55mph after the conversion. |

a rough equivalent, and free once you own the bike, is to downshift. the stock 9 will already wheelie over backwards in first gear, so that should be a low enough gear for most applications, the other 4 gears being suitable for higher road speeds. |

the extra torque pulley kit that trojan sells, if you have a 12, is the pullies and chain from the primary of the 9. your top speed will go down from 140 to about 126. on the highway, you will be cruising at much higher rpms. |
