I just got off the phone with Neville McNaughton discussing this weekends Midwest Rider Destination Ride, which is to The Bixby Country Store...He is leading a group up from Lebanon and has a couple of other groups heading to Bixby...I plan on leaving from the Eureka QT at 10:30...I'll be there rain or shine and would welcome riding company... See Ya! Bob |

Not Bob here, but it is on Sunday. You want to ride Saturday. No problem. Bob and I and ????? whoever wants to, are riding Sat. Destination as yet to be determined. I suggest Sutton's Bluff. If its hot be sure to bring your swim suit. Very good swimming there. Contact Bob or me if you want to ride Sat. I would like to be on the bike early, like maybe 8 or 9 at the latest. As always I am flexible. |

There seems to be a group leaving the STL area and heading to hannibal this saturday if you guys are interested. Met a couple of these guys in Hardin at the gas station just prior to having lunch with you guys. They have an agenda on this webpage. http://www.angelfire.com/ia/z/FZ1hannibal.htm If for some reason you guys decide to try this route let me know. Keith |

Sam...For the Deal's Gap info look on the Quick Board under the Deal's Gap thread...See you there!... John...The mythical and unobtainable Suttons Bluff sounds good to me...Do I ride Das Boat, Pumpkin or the DRZzzzz?...Hey, how about if Das Boat tows the DRZzzzz?...What about any early start to beat the heat?...And I mean early as in like 6 a.m...Tell Dee that the Pizza was ALMOST as good as the brisket...And thanks for clarifying that Neville's ride is Sunday...There should be quite a group converging on the Bixby Country Store... All...John has put in for vacation time for the Deal's Gap rally Sept 13-15 and, while still not a certainty due to the new casino, it's looking good...But we were wondering last night who else from this board is planning on going?...I think Leigh and Leslie Hudson (Prevish) are riding down from Milwaukee and we can try and meet up with them Thursday, the 12th...Neal, if this works out, we could pick you up along the way on I-64 to meeting up with Leslie and Leigh... See Ya! Bob |

I'm still 'in' for the Gap. I'm out for AR ... just a puss .... haha Actually many folks in the military are in a 'use or loose' leave (earned vacation time) predicament due to the past year's events. So while some are burning vacation time before 1 Oct, other's are holdin' down the fort keeping the machine running. DAve |

I am in as well, I secured vacation Sept. 12-17. any body have reservations and an extra cot? I offer cash and BEER! I figure I am jumping into the fray a little late. I have read that tent spaces are all that's left, which is fine. I am definitely not opposed to roughing it. |

See Ya! Bob |

Josh...Thanks for posting the pics...As the rest of you can see Neville's Midwest Rider monthly café ride was, uh, huge...Me thinks the destination of the Bixby Country Store had just a little bit to do with that...Highlight of my day was having Mariabelena perched very attractively on the pillion of Das Boat from Potosi to Bixby...Now I know why Josh and Mariabelen are such a great two up rider team...She gets on your scoot and kinda disappears...It was great fun and Josh got to go play with the fast boys on P and DD...I have to believe that if Brigit and Tony get up a web site over the winter and start promoting their place as a destination, well, I'd want to be their accountant...Think of something like Tail of the Dragon with menu, maps, routes, pics...We need to think up a cute name for DD...We then road down 49 and then north on 21 stopping in Pilot Knob at Fort Davidson...Ray and I ended up at Jack's for dinner and then home...John, the weather was as good as yesterday... See Ya! Bob |
