Been looking at alternatives for storage capacity/touring other than what Buell offers on their website. Went to GIVI and others. Any suggestions for hard saddlebags? Thanks for the advice... |

Its a custom fit operation only. None of the standard XB's, R or S have hard bag offerings. Even the "hardside" bags listed on Buell's site are just stiffened fabric bags. |

Mckennaxb12r, My 0.02. Givi Monokey cases are possible. They are of good quality, seal well, fairly light and the mounting is such that they can be a side or top case. Plus they have a wide variety of sizes. True you'd have to have mounting brackets custom made. I'm kicking around the idea on making a detachable 3 case setup for my XB12X (if it ever gets here). Just have to find a welder that is good welding aluminum. Cheers |

Roc made some brackets up for his Firebolt: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/32777/122440.html?1119547089 And Coldwthrrider did some up as well: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/32777/73173.html?1104165316 |

Cruisin and everyone. Thanks for the advice and photo. Still searching and it's a shame Buell doesn't manufacture a set-up for the other models nor does an aftermarket company. Atypical Buell with Buell....Thanks again everyone! |
