i see that the new buell models have an integral helmet lock as part of the bike. my 05 xb12s has a cheesy wire loop that came with the tool kit. to lock the helmet on the bike, you unlock and remove the rear portion of the seat, then loop the cable through the helmet d-ring, then put the loops over the seat attachment stanchion, then reinstall and lock the seat. this is cumbersome, plus you need three hands to make it all happen. does buell sell this helmet lock as an accessory, or is there some other aftermarket part? |

I asked Daves and the helmet lock from the XB12X is $47. I was thinking of how to fit one to my 12R. |

Would it be possible on the S with the XB12X helmet lock to drill a small hole through the plastic tray(?) under the seat and mount it somewhere on there? |
